Great review

I am a very happy novelist. I think you'll know why when you read the following review from the Church Times, which was kindly forwarded to me by Justin Lewis-Anthony of the 3 Minute Theologian blog.
Ta Justin. (If you click on the image, it gets bigger)

I think it's the most perceptive review I've read so far and to be compared to two of the most page-turning novelists I know... well, what more can I say?

David McLaurin, whom I discover to be a regular book reviewer for the CT and elsewhere, is also a novelist in his own right. In fact, his book The Bishop of San Fernando won the Daily Express book of the year award. I don't know about the rest of you writers out there, but it feels great to be congratulated by a reviewer who's also a novelist.

Happy weekend!

Cool review. I agree re having another novelist read and understand your book. That's why I was so utterly chuffed with your review of LR. You, like, really got it, man.

Great review, Alis - a really economical piece of work to capture the novel so neatly in so short a column.

You're definitely right that the praise of another novelist carries particular cachet.
